Yesterday was a great success! Big big thank you to all of you for coming, spreading the word, and helping to raise money for Auberge Shalom. We managed to raise over $1700!
Special thank you to my instructors Elia, Leslie, Aireen, Laurie, Jorge, Dimitra, Veronica, and Alejandra (who jumped in at the last minute!) Thank you also to instructors Marcela and Dalia who, even though they were not doing well, still sold tickets and spread the word about the event. I appreciate your passion and your positive vibes. You inspire us all.
Thank you to all my volunteers for helping with whatever needed to be done, especially Delisha for being my wing-woman for the afternoon and dancing up on stage with me!
Thank you also to all companies that set up tables and donated raffle prizes: Christella from Mary Kay, Cinema Guzzo, Aireen from Amway, Putting Edge, Powerflex Gym, Boutique 40/30, Candy Nail Bar, San Tropez Dance Centre, Harilanto Couture, Stephan Bott Acupuncteur, HappyTree Yoga, Ankoay Fitness, Ari Pro Tennis, and UB Cool.
To my photographer Denis Boisverts, lots of hugs and kisses for always producing capturing amazing memories of my events. I can’t wait to see your work this time! And also to Stephane Leclerc and team for setting up the stage and sound system for us. Such a great ambiance!
HUGE thanks to Ionik Vetements Sports for donating our fabulous purple instructor tops! And another huge thanks to Lloyd Prizant and everyone at Club CDL for donating the soccer field for us to host our event. So much generosity from everyone involved, so thank you.
But the biggest and most important thank you goes to Shirley and everyone at Auberge Shalom. You have helped thousands of women and children who have been affected by domestic violence. You are the real heroines. Thank you for your ongoing efforts to end domestic violence in this city. <3
Next year we will do it all over again! It will be bigger, better, and purple-er!!! Thank you everyone!
